Is the HelloBello Diaper Subscription Worth it?

Hello Bello, is a brand co-founded in 2019 by Kristen Bell, her husband and other partners best known for their line of affordable, printed diapers. according to the about section of their website, hellobello:

is a family and baby product company making plant-based premium products at non-premium prices…because they believe all babies deserve the best, which means all parents need access to affordable, premium products

I was gifted a hellobello diaper bundle subscription for my baby shower. So far I have recieved two shipments of the subscription. For those wondering “Is it worth it?” you’ve come to the right place.

What is the hellobello diaper bundle subscription?

HelloBello’s Diaper Bundles are a monthly diaper subscription that include 7 packs of diapers, 4 packs of wipes, products with 15% off offerings, and the occasional freebie delivered straight to your door. You can select the size and pattern on your diapers, with nighttime-diapers and pull-ups also available for selection. Best of all each bundle comes in an illustrated box that can double as a toy for your baby or any older children in the house. This is a company that has thought of everything.

How much does it cost?

Your first diaper bundle comes at 15% off, but normally costs $79.99 per month. This comes to approximately $10 per diaper pack and $2.50 per wipe pack, which is a fairly modest and decent price for diapers.

Also, if you are a first responder, in the military, or married to someone who is you can recieve a 20% discount on all of your diaper bundles. If you are looking to order from hellobello and meet this requirement, make sure to take advantage of it, and even if you don’t have a baby, take advantage of it for your loved ones that do. In a world of rising inflation, taking care of your baby can be stressful. Thankfully, hellobello sells their products at a “non-premium” price as advertised.

My Experience

I placed my first diaper bundle order at the end of August, and received my first shipment of diapers in the first week of september. I recieved an email when I placed my order and when the box was delivered. The diapers and wipes came in a cute box that resembled a school bus. Since my son is too young to appreciate it, I’ve used it to store his toys, but if I had older children in the house I’m sure they would have loved it.

the box was clean and all product wertr wrapped and sealed accordingly. For my box, I ordered a mix of size 2 and 3 diapers. I enjoyed the various prints on them. It definitely added some extra fun into an ordinarily mundane task.

The diapers themselves were soft and absorbent. I opted to include nighttime diapers with my bundle and found them useful. In fact I chose to order only nighttime diapers for my second bundle, as my son seems to be a human fountain. While these packs do come with slightly less diapers, it was worth it for me.

The wipes were also satisfactory, not too wet or dry. They’re not the biggest pack of wipes I’ve ever seen, but most diaper subscriptions don’t even include them. I found this useful that everything I needed was included in one package.

In terms of my baby’s thoughts he doesn’t have a comment, but he does laugh when I wipe his butt so it seems he’s getting something out of all of this.

I also opted to try hellobello’s hair, skin, and nails + Collagen vitamins as my first bundle freebie. I don’t know how well they’re working on my hair exactly, but they taste alright.

My second bundle came in the beginning of october in a haunted pirate ship themed box (or at least that’s what I think it is). Again, the product was wrapped and sealed without defect. I haven’t had to use these diapers yet, but the timing between the boxes is enough that I have some leeway in my supply. Thankfully, you are allowed to pause your subscription if you don’t need the product for that month. I haven’y had to do that yet, but it is a relief that it is an option to do so.

I paid using a giftcard code that was sent to me in an email from the giftee. The balance on the card was then saved to my hellobello account and I have not had to enter it again. checkout was easy and simple, with options to pay with paypal, visa, and more. The entire ordeal was a painless and simple process.
