An Honest diaper review

Pampers. Huggies. Luvs. HelloBello. The list goes on.

When I was pregnant I agonized over what brand of diapers to buy for my son. I read hundreds of amazon reviews where brands would have 5-star reviews next to 0 star rants. It made my head spin. So, as a mother of a now 3-month old baby, here is an honest review of the diaper brands I have used. Hopefully this helps your head spin a little less.

Luvs

This is the diaper brand I’ve used the most these past 3 months. One of the most economical Diaper brands, a small pack of luvs will cost you around $10. I had stocked up a bunch of these while I was pregnant. So, are they worth it?

Absolutely. Luvs are dependable. I’ve only had one-blow out so far, and honestly I don’t think it was the diapers fault. Although the material is noticeably not as luxurious as some other diapers, it works…and I don’t think my baby has a strong opinion about it anyways.

100/10 dependable brand. It works.

Parents Choice

The story of how I ended up using Parent’s Choice diapers is quite hilarious. My parents actually bought a box and started cutting holes in the diapers for our dog. When I ran out of luv’s, I figured I’d give them a try…and they’re solid!

I don’t have much to say, other than they’re simple and work. Pretty much the ideology of “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” They don’t have any patterns or fancy elements like some other diaper brands, but I liked that. The lack of pattern made it very easy to see the indicator strip, and it had a nice graphic on the waistband to show when to size up.

In short, it’s a great, no-frills, dependable brand. I liked it.

Pampers

I find pampers expensive, but I definitely noticed the quality difference. The Diaper material is much nicer, and noticeably softer than the brands mentioned above, making it a much more luxurious feel. I don’t know if my baby notices the difference, but I’m sure it feels great? As for absorbency, they can hold a lot. I would know. I should call my son the waterfall because his stream of pee is endless. Pampers catches it all.

10/10 solid diaper

Huggies

I received some huggie’s special delivery diaper samples in some of my baby registry bags. If you would like to know how to get these free samples, check out my post here.

In short, these diapers were nice. Like pampers, they were made of a soft, high-quality material. I liked them and they did the job.

On a scale from despise to love, I solid like it.

the Honest company

I can’t afford honest diapers, but In an alternate universe I’m dressing my baby in only that. I got some of these samples in my registry bags, and WOW…I never thought I would be impressed by a product whose job is to catch my kids crap…but I want it as a blanket.

these diapers were so soft and luxurious I would make a carpet out of it. I felt like a million bucks putting them on my baby. If you’ve used them, you know what I’m talking about. It sounds silly, because diapers are such a normal product, but these things are just built different. From the straps to the material, it’s made well.

If you can afford these diapers, I’d recommend them.
