“Tell Me You’re a Mom, Without Telling me You’re a Mom”

This post corresponds to the Momic chapter: “Tell me You’re a Mom without Telling me You’re a Mom” You can read it on Webtoon here.

Since the instagram algorithm has figured out I am a mother, I am constantly recommended parenting content. So, Im pretty up-to-date on the recent trends, for example that tik tok audio “Tell me you’re a _ without telling me you’re a _”

So it got me thinking, what would be the mom version of that… and I got the answer pretty quickly when I opened my camera to take a picture of my son and was met with the error: “Your phone is dangerously low on space.”

And then the camera app auto-ended itself.

So, if you do these things, you’re probably a mom:

  1. You’re probably a mom if your phone lockscreen is of your child

  2. You’re definitely a mom if you have no space on your phone because of photos of said child

  3. You’re 100% a mother if you have to delete apps so you can free up space to take more photos of your child.

Also…I can’t be the only one getting those advertisement posts for “FamilyAlbumApp.” I just wanted to comment that I really liked their illustrative storyboard ad campaign…and I totally would love to do one….just putting that out there. Just sayin. Y’know.

P.S. I love how my phone qualifies the storage, or lack thereof, with the adverb “dangerously.” Like not only is it low on space, it’s so low on space, it’s dangerous. makes me laugh every time.

How would you tell someone you’re a mom without telling them you’re a mom? Leave your answer in the comments below.
